Thank you for your interest in joining the Receivables Management Association International (RMAI). PLEASE READ ALL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AS IT EXPLAINS HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION.
MEMBERSHIP: Membership with RMAI is on a company level, includes one primary contact and runs on a traditional calendar year (January 1 to December 31). Prorated dues are available for applications submitted in Q2 (April, May, and June) and Q3 (July, August, and September) and will be billed the full dues amount the following year. Full payment of membership dues and a $275 one-time application fee are due at the time of application and required before your application is submitted for review.
ANNUAL DUES: Dues at the time of application are as follows:
SPECIAL OFFER! Apply October 1 – December 31, 2021: Dues are $1145; membership through December 31, 2022
Apply January 1 – April 30, 2022: Dues are $1145; membership through December 31, 2022
Apply April 1 – June 30, 2022: Dues are $858.75; membership through December 31, 2022
Apply July 1 – September 30, 2022: Dues are $572.50; membership through December 31, 2022
Apply October 1 – December 31, 2022: Dues are $1145; membership through December 31, 2023
INDUSTRY REFERENCES: Three (3) references are required; one must be a current RMAI member in good standing. If, however, you are unable to provide a current RMAI member as a reference then you must provide a total of five industry references. References need to be from contacts outside of your company. References from the same company in which you work are not allowed and references should be companies with which you have had accounts receivables business transactions. Personal, personal banking or office supplier references are not acceptable. Please obtain permission from your references in advance and notify them that RMAI staff will be emailing. RMAI expects to complete the reference process within one week of receiving your completed application and payment and appreciates prompt replies from your references to do so. Membership approval is partially based on your industry references.
BACKGROUND CHECK: RMAI will perform a basic background check (civil and criminal) on the company and primary contact in addition to each owner (inclusive of shareholders, partners, principals, members, etc.) with a five (5) percent or greater share of ownership and each corporate officer of the company. The report will remain confidential and used by RMAI staff.
ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP REPRESENTATIVES
Add staff to your membership. $75 per person. They will receive all member benefits.
Membership dues paid to RMAI are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. RMAI estimates that 100% of your annual dues will be used to support the organization's national and state legislative/regulatory program.
